Fake nails are sold in almost all cosmetic shops and salons. And forget about those that look plain. Now you have nails of different shapes - stylish, quirky and colorful. All you need to do is visit the salon for a makeover. You can choose from oval to square-tipped to those with stickers on them. You can also choose from two types of artificial nails - tip and form. The former is an extension of the nail which you place only on the tip and hold it down with Negle lim. The latter is molded according to the shape of your nail, taken off and then polished to a fine shine.
If you want to do it yourself, buy them along with some Negle lim. Or better yet, get yourself a UV lampe. Here, all you have to do is place your fingers below the lamp which will harden and stick your nails in place. It's also great for when you have a split nail but don't want to cut it. Glue the nail together and the UV lamp will set it in place.
Some people have concerns that UV lampe harm the skin and cause cancer, but scientists say that such lamps have a less amount of UV-A and UV-B than the sun. Still, if you're overly concerned, stick with the glue or ask your beautician to place a white cloth over your hands before putting them under the lamp. As long as you don't do it so often, there isn't any real reason to worry.
UV lampe and Negle lim have made artificial and split nails a thing of the past. You don't have to feel conscious any longer of your broken or chipped nails especially if you're trying to grow them. Just visit the salon for some amazing designs and styles and you're set to impress everyone around you.
